Soraia Ramos

Soraia Ramos, a talented Portuguese–Cape Verdean artist, was born in Portugal, where she lived until the age of 15 before moving with her family to France and later to Switzerland.

Using social media to promote her music, she has built a powerful digital presence, amassing 1 million followers on Instagram and 1.2 million on TikTok. In 2022, she stood out as the artist with the fastest growth on TikTok in Portugal. In 2023, Soraia was nominated in three categories at the Trace Awards: Song of the Year, Best Female Artist, and Best Lusophone Artist in Africa.

That same year, she released the hit single “Nha Terra,” which captured hearts beyond borders. The song became one of the most sung anthems by Cape Verde during the Africa Cup of Nations and has since accumulated nearly 12 million views on YouTube.
